half-baked, adjective: (1b) lacking adequate planning or forethought.
—The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
Half-baked projects! A half-baked Maker! What could possibly go wrong?
This site is a kind of notebook, where I post semi-plausible project ideas. Not just any projects, though. Projects that I write notes about, make progress on, and maybe — if the gods are smiling — actually complete. But until then, these projects remain half-baked.

RE: Your Logical Engine,
Ok, I am ticked that you did this before me, but that’s life. However, my concept was a little different… I wanted to make the computer out of Lego blocks, with the eventual goal of seeing how close one could come to creating a self-replicator. Might make for an interesting side-project.
Anyway, nice work and good luck! -Bryan J.L.
Thanks — it’s actually not done, it will probably take another year or two to complete. And if you’re not as ambitious as I am (16-bit CPU, with a 32-operation ALU) then you can probably build it out of Lego.
